Just before COVID hit, Woodcarver Club members had just about finished our Noah’s Ark raffle piece. This item is a two-foot-long ark, along with over 40 pieces, which include Noah, his wife, many animals, and a few other ark pieces. (Because of small pieces, this is not meant for small children.) The ark also has a working ramp and removable ark parts for storage. It is on display in the Creative Arts Building, straight through the front door in our display case. This took many members months to make, and, because of COVID, we were unable to get out to sell our tickets. We are happy to announce that we have (finally) set a date for the drawing. For those who have not heard about or seen this wonderful piece, tickets are on sale in the Expressions Gallery and Gift Shop or by contacting Kathy Stauffer at [email protected]. Tickets are $5 each or $20 for five. We will pick the winner after the close of the Creative Arts Holiday Fest on Dec. 4. The winner will be contacted by phone. I want to thank ticket holders for their patience during these trying times.
