December never looked so good with all the events we have planned for the Shalom Club! On December 18 (6:30 p.m.) in the Tuscany Ballroom, join us for a festive Chanukah Celebration. Complete with two carving stations, latkes, D.J. and dancing.
Price per member is $29 per person, guests are $39, children (12 and under) $15.
December 25 is movie night and dinner at Eest.
The movie chosen last month for discussion was Denial facilitated by Steve Shaffer. Judy Ruck led the book discussion with the title, The Nightingale. Look for upcoming announcements for future movies and books to be discussed by these wonderful facilitators!

It was a shotgun start as Shalom Club members played the Lake Course at Palm Valley Golf Course on November 7. Bob Cowan, Les Minsuk, Al Glatt and Ruth Shaffer were all winners of Closest to the Pin. Watch for details of the next outing!
Sun City Grand met The Shalom Club members on November 13. And what a turnout! They mingled, played bocce, horseshoes and other games, as the music played in the background. And to top it off—Famous Dave’s served the meal. What a glorious day.
We meet once a month on the third Sunday of each month in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom at 6:30 p.m. (to schmooze and nosh) followed by the meeting at 7:00 p.m.
This month’s general meeting will include a presentation by the Community Services Unit of the Goodyear Police Department.
