Members of the Shalom Club are enjoying monthly happy hours. It is a great time to get together with friends and experience new restaurants.
In April we enjoyed a new event at Turf Paradise. It was a fun day of horse racing, lunch, and betting on the horses. We had a wonderful view of the track from our clubhouse seats.
Also in April was our yearly Passover Seder organized by Hermine Sulzberg and Martha Bergman. Many club members volunteered to make the special foods necessary to make it a traditional meal.
This month the men’s luncheon was hosted by Mark Frumkin at Dillon’s BBQ and the ladies’ luncheon was hosted by Shelley Coate at Romans Oasis. This gives our new members a good opportunity to mingle with all members of the club.
