News from the Shalom Club

The Shalom Club enjoyed happy hour at Dillon’s.

The Shalom Club is keeping busy this summer with a variety of indoor activities. Shelly Moralez has been organizing our happy hours at various local restaurants.

Last month we had 50 members enjoy happy hour at Dillon’s barbecue. We had perfect seats right by the shark tank, so we enjoyed watching them swim by us as we had our dinner. Next month we are off to Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Peoria.

We also go on various field trips to local events. Last month, we went to the Immmersive Monet and Impressionist exhibit in Phoenix, where we could step inside living paintings.

The Shalom Club will host high holiday services this month led by Rabbi David Meyer. There will be a break the fast dinner held in the Chianti Room, which is always a well-attended event. Tickets are still available for both of these events.
