The Shalom Club hosted a beautiful Passover Seder in the Chianti Room for the second night of Passover on April 16.
David and Sandy Mednick led the service with many traditional songs and lots of audience participation. Our event coordinators, Hermine Sulzberg and Martha Bergman, organized the event and coordinated the many volunteers who helped with the cooking, baking, and shopping for this complicated meal.
There are many wonderful events coming up. The Shalom Club hosts at least one happy hour a month, which has been very popular with members. For the month of May, we met at Macayo’s Mexican restaurant. It is fun to try out new restaurants you may not know about. Also in May was a wonderful dinner cruise on Lake Pleasant with a BBQ dinner catered by Dillons. We also have an active book club, which meets every month and is available in person and on Zoom.
