Shalom Club members enjoy Chinese New Year dinner.
Ronnie Levine
Shalom Club members attended the annual dinner at Great Wall Cuisine in Phoenix to celebrate Chinese New Year. The food and the atmosphere were outstanding!
Some of the talented bakers in the Shalom Club got to show off their talents at the bake-off at our February meeting in honor of February birthdays. And we got lessons in making challah, traditional braided egg bread, at the home of Mrs. Zaklikofsky, wife of Chabad Rabbi Zaklikofsky, who is affectionately known as Rabbi Z.
March’s Ladies Luncheon will be held at Eagle’s Nest Restaurant, and a monthly Happy Hour will take place at Babbo’s Italian Eatery.
As a new activity, over the next few months we look forward to having members host bunco and mah jongg games in their homes. We hope this trend will continue.
The Shalom Club is open to all residents of PebbleCreek.
