News from Shalom Club

Ronnie Levine

PebbleCreek’s Shalom Club has emerged as an opportunity for Jewish and non-Jewish residents to gather for celebrations of Jewish life, learning, and relaxation. Our membership includes singles, Jewish couples, non-Jewish couples, and interfaith couples, so whatever you are, you are welcome to join us.

Join the club and enjoy celebrating holidays with your PebbleCreek family. Of course, food is an essential part of our heritage that is honored as often as possible.

Among our many activities is the monthly meeting which provides members an opportunity to socialize, have a nosh, and enjoy a short entertaining program.

Next are our three major events: a community Seder, a Yom Kippur break-the-fast and, of course, the Chanukah party. Other activities include bowling and golf, dances, sports day, theater outings, book group, progressive dinner, and many other social events.

We have created a newsletter, “The Shalom Club Voice,” that members will receive on the first of the month. It features information, inspiration, and humor. If you haven’t received the newsletter, please check your spam or junk mail folder, then add the address to your contact or safe sender list.

If you are a former Shalom Club member (or know of one), and need assistance, contact Willa Kravitz (information below).

Most important of all is our sense of community and the way we support each other.

What better time than now to join this wonderful club and meet new friends?

Stay safe and healthy and we hope to see you all soon!
