Agie Olmedo, Executive Director
Dear PebbleCreek Friends and Neighbors,
As the Thanksgiving season approaches, it’s the perfect time to pause and reflect on all that we have to be thankful for—family, friends, meaningful relationships, and the trusted referrals that connect us with those who might benefit from joining our wonderful community. Gratitude has a special way of bringing people closer together, reminding us that life’s greatest joys often come from the company we keep.
For many, the holidays are filled with laughter, memories, and traditions. But they also present a valuable opportunity to check in on the older adults we love. As families gather, it’s important to notice any changes that might suggest someone could benefit from the support and social connection that senior living offers.
Here are a few signs to look for:
* Changes in personal hygiene or appearance—Clothing that’s not quite right for the weather or less attention to grooming.
* Difficulty managing daily tasks—Trouble preparing meals, remembering medications, or keeping up with household chores.
* Withdrawn behavior or isolation—Less interest in social activities or connecting with friends and family.
* Unexplained weight loss or changes in mobility—Indicators that additional support may be needed.
If you notice any of these signs, it may be time to explore the benefits of senior living—where safety, social engagement, and quality care come together to enhance independence and well-being.
