New ticket system for PC Players

Jon Lindstrom

Kudos go to our performing group, the PebbleCreek Players, for bringing their ticketing system into the twenty-first century. They are in the final stages of implementing a system where PebbleCreek residents can not only purchase tickets using credit cards, but can do so conveniently online over the Internet. Working with a company called The Arts People from Portland, Oregon, community residents will now be able to go online, learn something about the play, select the performance night as well as the specific seats they want from those still available and pay with a credit card. Tickets can then be printed out right on their own computers. All of this is done securely and in the comfort of their own homes. For those who still feel the need to get up at the crack of dawn, lining up outside the Renaissance Theatre to get first shot at the best seats or who want to traipse over to the Eagle’s Nest kiosk to select and pay for their tickets in good old American cash, those options will still be available as well. A Job Well Done goes to all those involved in implementing this system. More information will be sent out as it gets closer to their go-live date.
