National Love Your Pet Day

Whether you’re gone five minutes or five hours, there’s no doubt that your furry friend will be anxiously awaiting your return when you get home. Now’s the time to make sure you pay back the affection! February 20 is National Love Your Pet Day.

Did you know that people have been keeping animal counterparts for tens of thousands of years? Man and animal are no stranger to each other and it turns out, that’s actually a good thing! Pets are good for both our emotional and physical health. Caring for a pet helps provide unbreakable companionships that have been shown to increase mood and can even lower blood pressure.

There are plenty of ways to celebrate your pet this National Love Your Pet Day like a trip to the groomer, a pawdicure, a new toy or bed from somewhere like https://www.jugdog.co.uk/best-dog-beds/, a walk on one of the beautiful walking trails in the community or maybe even a trip to the PebbleCreek Dog Park if your furry friend is a canine. The dog park is open from dawn till dusk for all PebbleCreek residents and is a great place for your pets to have some play time and you to socialize with other dog lovers. You can even surprise your four-legged friend with one of their favorite treats! You can click here if you’re looking for new tasty treats for your furry friend or try baking some. We know peanut butter goes down a treat.
