News update—October 6 – 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. – Tuscany Clubhouse-Capri Room—PC High Holidays Club rolls out a new program affectionately called Chai High. The residents of PebbleCreek will be treated to a monthly higher learning session about Jewish history, language, Hebrew reading, Holocaust lectures and other wonderful topics.

Our kick-off lecture on October 6 will have Bill Adler as the keynote speaker. His topic is Preserve Your Family History. His objective is to share with you why and how you, too, should: Leave More Than a Headstone. He has made the conscious decision to record his family history for the current and future branches of his family tree and will challenge the audience to consider doing the same by preserving the family heritage. (His book – Confessions of a Jewish Hillbilly, can be purchased).

So—please join our club for this premier lecture (at no charge). You will be able to talk with Bill Adler and the floor will be open for questions. There is limited seating capacity. Please email Brenda Hyman –[email protected] for sign-up. Each email will be time-stamped and once capacity is reached (40 guests) you will be wait-listed.

Mark your calendar for the following dates in the Capri Room at Tuscany Clubhouse at 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday: November 3, December 1, January 5, February 2, March 5

We guarantee an exciting and educational program each and every time. Looking forward to seeing you in October and at all the other lectures. Topic subjects will appear in the PebbleCreek Post as well as on the flyer posted on our bulletin boards (monthly).

Shalom!
