T.T.T. Chapter P’s mission is to send deserving 4th grade girls to summer camp for an experience they would not have otherwise. They will learn character–building and leadership skills, life lessons, and values to draw on in the future— in addition to having fun. It has been shown that 4th grade can be a pivotal point in many girls’ lives, and T.T.T. wants to facilitate a positive one.
The fundraising has been done, the girls have been recommended by their teachers, and T.T.T. Chapter P selected which girls to send to camp. After a buying trip with mother and daughter, all the clothing and supplies were purchased for the girls to spend one fabulous week at camp. All costs are paid by the Chapter. Along with all the clothing and toiletries, the girls are given a sleeping bag, backpack, and suitcase. A suggestion is made that they can keep the suitcase for college.
