Men’s Christian Fellowship at the Phoenix Rescue Mission

On January 13 the Fellowship did an outreach project serving noon meals to the needy at the Phoenix Rescue Mission. Approximately 180 meals were served to men, women and a few families with children. During a tour the fellowship learned the Mission is a Christ-based nonprofit organization that provides meals three times a day 365 days per year for those in need. They also have a 148 bed emergency shelter. In addition the Mission offers various faith-based programs including a recovery program lasting 12 to 18 months for men and a similar transformational program for mothers with children. The Fellowship members were touched by the gratitude of those who were served. Fellowship attendees included: Tom Chapman, Jeffrey Fischer, J.D. Brown, Ted McGovern, Doug McFarland, Lee Price, Jim Jarvis, Bruce Sharp, Mike Davis, Jim Leonard, Tom Bashwiner, Tim Mansell, Bob Holtsberry, Mark Rimmer, Ron Wanless and Larry Gleason. On February 3 the Men’s Christian Fellowship (MCF) is delighted to have as its speaker Tom Chapman, the Fellowship’s president and founder. Tom will be sharing his prophetic outlook for 2016 and beyond. Tom also teaches the Fellowship’s Bible Study Class which meets every Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m. in the Chianti Room South at the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse. He is currently teaching an in-depth study of the Bible’s most prophetic book, other than Revelation, the book of Zechariah. Tom has been teaching primarily about Biblical Prophecy for over 20 years and has a detailed understanding of end-time prophecy. With the chaos that is currently enveloping the world, it is imperative that we have a clear understanding of God’s revealed plan for this time. The Scriptures give us a solid foundation for preparing ourselves for the coming days of God’s dealing with His creation and His church.
The epicenter of all end-time prophecy is the nation of Israel and the city of Jerusalem. Currently, Israel is surrounded by its enemies, all of which are committed to the total destruction of Israel to the last man, woman and child. Will ISIS and the legions of Islamic militants be able to take out Israel? Will we see WWIII evolve from what is currently taking place in Syria? Will Israel get the land back that God deeded to them through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob?
This month’s meeting will address these questions and more so you don’t want to miss out on this first, regular MCF meeting of the new year. The meeting will be held in the Tuscany Falls Chianti Room at 7:30 a.m. Coffee and pastries will be available at 7:00 a.m. at the Tuscany Falls Coffee Bar.
