The next meeting of the Men’s Christian Fellowship of PebbleCreek (MCFPC) will be Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 7:30 a.m. in the Tuscany Falls Chianti Room. Special guest speaker will be Dr. Paul Benware, author and retired professor, with his presentation ‘Understanding How to Interpret the Book of Revelations.’
Dr. Paul Benware currently teaches college students at the Jackson Hole Bible College (Jackson, Wyoming), and is involved in preaching and teaching in conferences and local churches. Before retiring into this present ministry, he was a professor in the Bible department at Arizona Christian University (ACU) in Phoenix, Ariz.
Before coming to ACU, Dr. Benware was on the faculty of the Los Angeles Baptist College and on the faculty of the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. During these years of teaching in the college classroom he has been involved in several local churches, often holding pastoral or staff positions. This local church involvement reflects his conviction that the local church is primary in doing Christ’s work in the world today.
A prolific author, Dr. Benware has written several books, including Understanding End Times Prophecy and The Believers Payday. He has also contributed to several other books and has published articles in several journals and magazines. His website PaulBenware.com also contains hundreds of articles on prophetic issues and Christian living.
He holds a B.A. degree from the Los Angeles Baptist College, a Th.M. degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a Th.D. degree from Grace Theological Seminary. Dr. Benware lives with his wife Anne in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
At the MCFPC Nov. 2 meeting, Jay Cory, Executive Director of Along Side Ministries, described the mentor/mentee relationship of prison ministry and especially the year proceeding prison release in his presentation, “Seeing Lives Transformed.” Over 92% of Along Side Ministries graduates will not return to prison.
All men of PebbleCreek are welcome and invited to attend. The Tuscany Falls Chianti Room is located between the Ballroom and the library. For more information, contact President Igor Shpudejko at [email protected] or 602-384-6496.
