The Men’s Christian Fellowship of PebbleCreek (MCFPC) first gathering of the 2024-25 season is set for Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 7:30 a.m. in the Tuscany Falls Chianti room. The group of Christian men meets the first Wednesday of each month from October through May with special guest presenters focusing on an important or timely topic. Guests are always welcome.

The special guest speaker will be Macario De La Cruz, Director of Community Relations for the Center of Arizona Policy (CAP), a nonprofit research and education organization dedicated to defending marriage and family and religious freedom. CAP, established in 1995 and based in Scottsdale, works with elected officials and members of the community.

Macario was born in Austin, Texas, and moved to the valley in 1995. He and his wife Sandy have four children and have been married 21 years. In 2021 he and his father started pastoring a Spanishspeaking congregation in North Phoenix. Their hope is to create a positive generational impact for Arizona families. His topic for the Oct. 2 gathering is “Family Under Attack.”

In addition to monthly meetings, the MCFPC also conducts weekly bible studies throughout the year each Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. by zoom and in person.
