On December 3, 29 members and friends of the Men’s Christian Fellowship met for breakfast in the Eagle’s Nest Dining Room. After a welcome by Vice President Ron Glynn, the attendees spent the next hour in a delightful time of fellowship. This provided an excellent opportunity to get to know one another better by discussing such topics as where one lived previously, work experiences, family, interests/activities enjoyed in PebbleCreek and other personal items. There was general agreement future breakfasts with a fellowship focus should be held.
On January 7, the Fellowship will be going to the Phoenix Rescue Mission’s Emergency Shelter to serve noon meals to the homeless. The Mission is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization founded over 60 years ago and provides meals up to three times a day to anyone who arrives at their door. All men residing in PebbleCreek are invited to participate in this outreach project and those interested can contact Jim Jarvis for more information at 623-536-6658 or email Jim at [email protected].
At their meeting on February 4 the Fellowship is delighted to have PebbleCreek’s Lee Ayers presenting his personal testimony on his walk with the Lord. The meeting will be held at 7:30 a.m. in the Tuscany Falls Chianti Room. All PebbleCreek men are invited to attend.
