Meet the Genealogy Detectives

Vicky Ferraresi and Kevin Campbell

The PebbleCreek Genealogy Club (PCGC) has started a new members-only program, Genealogy Detectives. Club members have access to our Genealogy Detective Mentoring Program. Whether you’re a beginner genealogist and unsure of where to begin, or you’re feeling stuck and not sure how to break through a research brick wall, we’re here to help. Experienced club members volunteer their time to provide guidance, offering personalized suggestions and strategies to help you move forward in your research. Let us assist you in taking the next step on your journey to uncover your family history.

We can help you get started. Are you ready to dive into your family history but not sure where to begin? Do you have a family tree set up on online platforms like Ancestry, FamilySearch, or other genealogy software? Maybe you’ve heard of Ancestry Charts and Family Group Sheets but aren’t sure how to create them? Don’t worry—we’re here to help! At the PebbleCreek Genealogy Club, we make starting your genealogy journey easy and enjoyable. We know that beginning research can feel overwhelming, but with the right guidance and resources, you’ll be uncovering your family story in no time!

Need some direction on what to do next? If you’ve already begun researching your family tree but find yourself stuck at a brick wall, you’re not alone! Sometimes uncovering your ancestors’ stories requires a fresh perspective or new strategies. One of our experienced Genealogy Detectives can review your family tree, analyze your progress, and offer expert suggestions to help you break through those roadblocks. We’ll guide you in your quest to find new records, resources, and techniques to keep your research moving forward.

If you’ve considered using DNA testing to break down your brick walls, our Genealogy Detective will guide you in selecting the right DNA test to meet your research goals and assist you in interpreting the results once they arrive.

You can meet with the detectives every month during the networking portion of the PCGC meetings, which is held the second Monday of each month in the Palm Room at Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse. Or send an inquiry to [email protected].
