Meet the Candidates for the HOA Board

Susan Knox Wilson

“At press time we were still receiving profiles from candidates interested in running in this year’s election,” noted Election Committee Chairman Cliff Crooks. “But given the interest expressed to date, I know we are going to have a greatand larger than usualslate of candidates.” The candidates are vying for a two-year, resident-volunteer position on the PebbleCreek Homeowners’ Board of Directors, beginning Jan. 1, 2026. A director’s duties and responsibilities are described in Article V Section 2 of PebbleCreek’s CC&Rs, which are posted on the PCHOA website.

You’ll have a chance to learn more about the candidates and their platforms in the coming weeks. Please plan to attend one of the Meet-the-Candidates Forums and look for our special election insert in the October issue of the PebbleCreek Post.

All homeowners are encouraged to participate in one of the Meet-the-Candidates Forums. Three forums will be held:

* Wednesday, Sept. 17, VIRTUALLY (via Zoom) at 6 p.m. Details about logging into the forum will be published in PebbleNews.

* Wednesday, Sept. 24, LIVE at 10 a.m. and another at 6 p.m. in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom

Each forum will include information about the voting process, opening remarks by each candidate and Q&A from the audience. At the conclusion of the Q&A, candidates will have two minutes apiece for closing remarks.

“Our Election Committee organizes these forums to provide homeowners with an opportunity for dialogue and respectful, bona fide inquiries to clarify candidates’ positions on issues that serve the greater good of the community,” said Cliff.

For the eighth year, our HOA Board election will be managed by VoteHOANow.com, which proved to be quick, easy to use, and yield an outstanding turnout for PebbleCreek elections. On or about Oct. 6, registered homeowners will receive an email from the VoteHOANow voting site, asking them to vote online anytime during the fall PCHOA election period, which begins Monday, Oct. 6, and ends at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17. (Please note that if you prefer using a paper ballot, you must request one, in person, from the Eagle’s Nest front desk during the active election period. No paper ballots will be mailed.) Watch for more details about the voting process as we near the election period.
