PebbleCreek’s Expressions Gallery offers a wide variety of items created by resident artists and artisans. Did you know this array also includes books written by PebbleCreek resident authors?
The range of topics is broad; over the years offerings have included everything from children’s stories to memoirs and mysteries to cookbooks.
On Friday, November 14, 2014, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., the Creative Arts Committee and Expressions Gallery are hosting an informal reception to introduce published resident authors and highlight their work. For authors the afternoon offers an opportunity to talk about their work with fellow residents. For readers it’s a great time to meet their PebbleCreek neighbors who put pen to paper and give us hours of pleasure. This casual setting enables readers to have the chance to talk with authors in a social setting and discover new and unfamiliar authors, topics and areas of interest.
Mark your calendar and plan to attend this new and interesting event at the Creative Arts Center. While discovering your PebbleCreek authors and their work, you may find that one of a kind holiday gift for the readers on your shopping list. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Light refreshments will be served during what promises to be an interesting and educational afternoon.
