Each year, the Men’s Christian Fellowship of PebbleCreek (MCFPC) celebrate the end of another year by holding a breakfast event at the Eagle’s Nest. President Tom Chapman welcomed those in attendance and highlighted upcoming events for the coming year. A special guest at this year’s breakfast was Christian entertainer Charlie Coleman who provided a heart-warming rendition of “How Great Thou Art” and “O Holy Night.”

Upcoming activities in 2020 include community outreach events at St. Mary’s Food Bank in Surprise on Jan. 29 and another in April. Those interested in assisting the Men’s Fellowship effort by sorting donated food items can contact Igor Shpudejko at 602-384-6496 or Lee Ayers at 623-536-1496.

On Feb. 4, at 7:30 a.m. in the Chianti Room at Tuscany Falls, the MCFPC will have as their main speaker, Al Fadi, the founder and CEO of CIRA (Center for Islamic Research and Awareness), a consulting agency focused on training and equipping leaders in the field of Islamic Studies and Political Islam. Al Fadi is also the host of a popular radio show called “Let Us Reason—A Dialogue with Al Fadi” and has appeared on numerous radio and television shows.

Following the February meeting, ticket information will be made available for the May 2 Christian concert by Charlie Coleman brought back to PebbleCreek after a sold-out performance in May of this past year. Those desiring more information on the concert can contact Don Sass at 623-570-1420.

The March 4 meeting will feature Christian testimony and comments from a retired army general. Monthly meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month with guest speakers on the Christian faith.
