Mangiare Bene “Eating Well” at The Pasta Factory

PCIAC members enjoying homemade Italian meals at The Pasta Factory

Melissa D’Onofrio

On March 31, 43 PebbleCreek Italian American Club (PCIAC) members enjoyed absolutely delicious homemade Italian meals at The Pasta Factory located in nearby Avondale. The family-owned and operated Pasta Factory is a cozy, neighborhood-style, casual restaurant overseen by Italian chef Jay Franco. Chef Franco learned his trade from his father, who was professionally trained in Tuscany, Italy. Chef Franco also happened to be the father of our three wonderful waitresses.

Members who attended enjoyed a variety of classic Italian dishes, with flavors ranging from Aglio to Zucchino! Smooth sauces, warm Italian garlic bread, pasta, and desserts—all are homemade and all are prepared fresh daily. After our abundant lunch servings, those of us who still had room enjoyed the homemade limoncello cake for dessert. It served as a delightful and delicious ending to a wonderful afternoon.

The PebbleCreek Italian American Club hosts a monthly luncheon in order to give members an opportunity to connect with each other over food in smaller, more intimate settings. PCIAC members can check out our website at pciacaz.org to register for our monthly luncheons and to learn about other club events. If you would like more information about The Pasta Factory, you can call Abagale at the restaurant at 602-814-3427.
