All four golf leagues joined together to host a maintenance appreciation lunch for the golf course maintenance crew on Sept. 10. This event has been hosted annually for many years by the men’s 18-hole league. Joining in hosting this year were the men’s 9-hole league along with the women’s 18- and 9-hole leagues. Crew members enjoyed pizza, cookies, drinks, and socializing with their co-workers. Our league golfers appreciate the hard work that is done to maintain three golf courses, especially the extraordinary effort to quickly restore the courses to playing condition after the storm damage that was recently incurred. The next time you play, give a friendly wave as you pass by a crew member to show our appreciation year–round.
