Over 200 members of the PebbleCreek Men’s Golf Association competed at the annual Four Man Scramble Tournament. This pick your own team event is considered a major as it is played over several days. Originally scheduled to be played December 4, 10 and 11, this year’s event was shortened to two days due to heavy rains on December 4.
The field was separated into six flights. On December 10, flights 1, 3 and 5 played on our Eagle’s Nest Course and flights 2, 4 and 6 played on our Falls/Palms Tuscany Falls Course. The flights switched courses on December 11. There was an eight o’clock shotgun start each day, so many dedicated members warmed up in the dark.
Lunch was served in the Tuscany Ballroom after play was completed. Burgers, dogs, beer, soda and cookies comprised the menu. PCMGA President John Krasnan introduced Jason Whitehill, our new Director of Golf to the group. Jason provided his background and explained his new role.
Scoring was completed by several PCMGA board members and our pros, Ronnie Decker and Dave Vader did the posting. Ronnie announced the winners. Prizes were awarded for Low Gross, 1st Low Net, 2nd Low Net and 3rd Low Net in each of the six flights.
