Local Motown and R&B Group, Qhalage, Played to a Sold-Out PebbleCreek Show

Shelly Carothers

The PebbleCreek Ballroom was packed Friday, January 24 while residents danced the night away with the popular Motown and R&B group Qhalage. Tickets were sold out months before the event. Those unable to get a ticket missed a great performance.

Qhalage packed the dance floor with favorites like “Celebrate,” “My Girl,” and “What’s Going On.” They even threw in the classic country tune “Tennessee Whiskey” and the popular line dance “Cupid Shuffle.”

Thanks to organizer Lynn Seidel, everyone had a great time. Several in attendance could be heard saying it was great having a new group perform. Qhalage has been a crowd favorite at various events in and around the greater Phoenix area for over ten years.

Due to the success and popularity, another show has been added. Mark those calendars now for Sunday, March 29 from 6-9 p.m. in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. Tickets will be available starting March 1 through Lynn Seidel at 414-403-1517.
