A new manuscript, “Raw Image,” is in final editing as the first in a new series, “Behind the Lens Mysteries,” and is expected to be released in 2023. After 25 years of chasing the bad guys on the streets of Los Angeles, R Gregg Miller retired from the Los Angeles Police Department to chase his toddler around the house. Now, with his daughter working on her PhD, the aging street cop lives in the White Mountains. When he isn’t building furniture or strolling through the forest, he’s working on another entertaining novel that blends his personal experiences with history. “False Negatives” is set in 1972 Los Angeles when the Manson murders were front page news. “Black and White” is a first-rate political thriller set in south-central Los Angeles in the 1970s. “Honestly Deceitful” moves to the CIA with a female analyst who is sent to Mexico to kill a drug lord.
This promises to be an interesting and enjoyable event where the authors will talk about their work and background and take questions from the audience.
The cost of the presentation and lunch is $30. Tickets will be on sale Feb. 13 to Mar 13. For tickets, contact Dee Sussman at [email protected] or 623-594-8945, or Jackie Abel at [email protected] or 623-535-7426.
