Legacy Animal Hospital Veterinarian to Speak March 1

Dr. Brittany Schultz

Marge Ellison, Vice President, The Pet Companions Club of PebbleCreek

The Pet Companions Club of PebbleCreek is pleased to have veterinarian Dr. Brittany Schultz as guest speaker at our general membership meeting Wednesday, March 1. Dr. Schultz will discuss “Behavior for Pet Caretakers: How to Enrich Our Pets’ Lives While They Enrich Ours.” We will meet in Room 100 of the Eagle’s Nest Activities Center at 3 p.m. All PebbleCreek residents, whether club members or not, are invited to attend. There is no charge. Masks are suggested but not required.

Dr. Schultz received her bachelor’s degree in zoology from Ohio State University and then went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation she moved to the valley and worked in small animal general practice, home euthanasia, and shelter medicine. She has special interests in soft tissue surgery and behavior. Dr. Schultz particularly enjoys helping rescue groups get their animals ready for a new start in life.

Dr. Schultz lives with her husband, Jim; two daughters, Finley and Willa; two cats; and two dogs. Her cat, Jack, was adopted from The Pet Companions Club of PebbleCreek after she fell in love with him during his vaccine appointment.

As usual, a box will be available for donations of such pet-related items as: collars, leashes, pet beds, pet blankets, pet medications (check expiration date), pet food (check expiration date), etc. Those items not used in our animal rescues are delivered to other local animal shelters.
