Deborah Legan
January 19, 2016, was the kickoff for the French conversation/social group Le cercle français and the beginning of its sixth year as a PebbleCreek club. Le cercle français now has over 30 members. To celebrate, members gathered at the home of Deborah Legan to taste nine French cheeses and a selection of French wines. There were also many other delicious things to eat including paté, dips, salads, chocolate mousse, shortbread cookies and much more.
Members volunteer to host the group at their home and attending members often bring snacks or wine. Meetings are the first and third Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. year around. Only French is spoken for the first two hours and the meeting is ended by singing an Au Revoir song in French.
