Looking for meaningful “give back” volunteer opportunity?

Check out the Southwest Valley Literacy Association.

Last two workshops until September 2017 – April 8 and 15 – June 3 and 10

Our tutor volunteers are teaching English language skills to non-English speaking adults in the West Valley so they can become productive in our communities.

Southwest Valley Literacy offers Tutor Training Workshops several times a year. You do not need to speak any language other than English. You do not need teaching experience.

Upon completion of the two-day workshop, you will be certified by ProLiteracy America as an ESL tutor.

It is a chance to give back to your community as well as to change the life of someone, not to mention the immense fulfillment you will feel.

Don’t feel you are cut out for tutoring?
