Abrazo Hospital tours planned
Janis Korba
Kare Bears has scheduled tours of Abrazo West Campus Hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center for the residents of PebbleCreek, which includes lunch in the board room with the CEO. In emergencies seconds count and we are fortunate to have this hospital within a few minutes’ driving time.
The tour and lunch are available for the first 14 people that sign up. Please call the Kare Bear House at 623-536-1200 to make a reservation. Your name must be on the list to attend. The next tour will be March 28, if March is full, please sign up for April 25.
This is the nearest hospital to PebbleCreek offering a Level 1 Trauma Center, an accredited chest pain center, cardiac arrest center, joint commission certified, primary stroke center with board certified physicians. Abrazo has the Robotic Surgical Services using the de Vinci Surgical Platform, outpatient wound care and Hyperbaric Medicine.
We know you’ll enjoy this tour and lunch. The hospital has undergone tremendous new construction which we feel everyone will appreciate seeing. The day of the tour we need to be in the lobby of the main entrance located at 13677 W. McDowell Road, just before 10:00 a.m.

Thank you, volunteers
Arlis Legler
Kare Bears wishes to thank our PebbleCreek community volunteers for their assistance in the delivery of the 2019 Source Books™.
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon in January, veteran volunteers, Rose Ann Cleland and Pam and Ted Wallace, put their team to work. Seven men with hand trucks moved some 275 boxes of Source Books from the Kare Bears House to Robson Circle curb.
Sherry Atwater, Laura Measles and Maureen Plate, greeted 95 delivery volunteers, providing them with specific information for delivering Source Books. Then directed those volunteers down the street, where more volunteers were waiting to put Source Books into their cars. All books were delivered to every house in PebbleCreek by the end of the week.
As our community grows, this project requires more volunteers, if you are interested in assisting Kare Bears in 2020, please contact Arlis Legler [email protected] with your name, telephone number and preferred email address.
Great job volunteers!
