Special presentation by Kare Bear Presents
Linda Jo Orinski
Kare Bear Presents welcomes Sean Thompson and Jason May on Monday, November 26; location is the Chianti Room at Tuscany 11:00 a.m.-noon.
This special presentation will have limited seating, so please RSVP to [email protected] at your earliest convince. You do not want to miss this!
Jason May is an Estate Planner, Probate and Elder Attorney. Jason focuses his efforts on helping people achieve their goals and dreams through effective estate planning. As a trial probate attorney, Jason helps clients find and close the loopholes in their plans. As a counselor at law, he also helps families through the process after losing a loved one. He helps advocate for his clients’ goals and wishes while maneuvering complicated family dynamics efficiently and peacefully. His presentations will center around wills, trusts and POAs and hidden dangers. You do not want to miss this valuable information with a chance for Q&A with an Estate Attorney. Information we need, but sometimes do not want to think about: leaving your family with preplanned estate. To join Jason May as a presenter will be Sean Thompson.
Sean Thompson is the owner of Thompson Funeral Chapel. Sean has been in the death care industry for 29 years and in 2005 Sean and his wife purchased the funeral home in Goodyear and then in 2015 they opened a second funeral home in Surprise, Arizona. Currently, Sean serves as a Board Chair for the Abrazo West Campus, Board Member of the Sierra Winds Retirement Community and Treasure of one of the largest local non-profit car clubs. His topics for the presentation will consist of the value of preplanning, the difference between our two locations Simply and Thompson and what the difference is between a funeral home and a society association for cremation/burial (i.e. Neptune, National Cremation). It is all about planning, knowing what to expect!
There is limited seating so make sure your name is on the list of attendees.
This Kare Bear Presents is absolutely free to all attendees! Normally our November calendar does not include a Kare Bear Presents program because we have the Fall Luncheon on November 14. I really felt this information was valuable enough to bring these speakers to PebbleCreek for a special presentation.
Join us on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 11:00 a.m.-noon in the Chianti Room at Tuscany. Refreshments and attendance are free!
RSVP required: [email protected].

Kare Bears bake sale December 1
Hope Ewest
Calling all bakers. Kare Bears is sponsoring their annual bake sale on Saturday, December 1, 2018, in the Creative Arts Center in conjunction with the Artists’ Holiday Fest.
We are requesting any sort of baked goods, but are asking that you please mark the package if nuts are included and if the items are gluten free. A description of the baked goods is really helpful. We know this is asking a lot, but it sure makes things easier for us if the items are packaged in the ‘go home’ containers or the plastic containers purchased at a dollar store.
We will be available on Friday, November 30 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the main aisle of the Creative Arts Center to take in the baked items.
Kare Bears needs your help
Arlis Legler
Are you looking for a way to be of service to your community that will not require a lot of your time?
Kare Bears has a deal for you. We are in the process of recruiting residents to assist in the distribution of the 2019 Source Book™. If you helped us in the past, you will be contacted via separate email to see if you are available.
Additional volunteers are needed, especially in the newer units and to replace long time volunteers. If you would like to help, please send an email to Arlis Legler at [email protected] with your name and telephone number. We cannot guarantee that you will distribute Source Books in your immediate neighborhood.
The distribution of Source Books to the volunteers will take place on a Sunday in mid-January 2019. That date is unknown at this time. Volunteers will be assigned where we need them in the community and they will have a week to deliver Source Books to all residents.
Updated information will be in the December Post and in PebbleNews.
