The Just Folks Association cordially invites you and members of your club to join us in our annual Kwanzaa celebration. “Sharing in Unity” is the theme of this year’s program brunch to be held at the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom on Dec. 18. Please see the attached official invitation for more information including time, cost, etc.
In keeping with our theme, we are reaching out to all PebbleCreek groups to create a closer community. We hope you will join the celebration and participate in this opportunity to know more about the African American heritage and culture through our program of dance, recitation, and ceremonial activities.
In addition to mailing a check as indicated on the attached invite, you can stop by the Eagle’s Nest kiosk to purchase tickets on Tuesdays and Thursdays on the following dates and times, beginning Nov. 5.
Nov. 5: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Nov. 7: 10 a.m. to noon
Nov. 12 to 26: noon to 2 p.m.
Dec. 2 to 5: noon to 2 p.m.
For your information, Kwanzaa is a celebration held in the United States and in other nations of the African diaspora in the Americas. This celebration honors African heritage in African-American culture and is typically observed from Dec. 26 to Jan. 1. However, the Just Folks special celebration will take place for one day.
Please join us on Dec. 18. We look forward to seeing you on this special occasion. Please feel free to invite members of your family.
