Jim Padgitt Wins Dual Honors in PC 8-Ball and 9-Ball Tournaments

Members of the PebbleCreek Billiard Club have completed another series of extended 8-Ball and 9-Ball tournaments held in the PC Billiard Room. Both tourneys are played in a round robin format over eight consecutive weeks.

This season, Jim Padgitt earned Championships in both 8-Ball (Series VI) and 9-Ball (Series IV) tournaments.

In 8-Ball, Jim won 49 games and accumulated a total of 55 points to achieve the Championship title. Recording second and third place finishes, respectively, were Clay Beeson (40 games won, 43 points) and Jim Sykes (35 games won, 38 points). Other 8-Ball tourney competitors: Harold Erker, Marv Schrock, Mike Finnegan, Bill Frustaglia, Joe Armbruster, Butch Schoen, Chuck Johnson, Lee Anderson, and Al Vence.

As 9-Ball Champion, Jim earned 45 game wins and 57 total points. Runner-up was Mike Finnegan (39 games won, 42 points) with third-place honors going to Joe Armbruster (34 games won, 37 points). Other 9-Ball players include Clay Beeson, Butch Schoen, Bill Wise, and Al Vence.

8-Ball tournament play convenes in the PC Billiard Room Mondays at 2 p.m. 9-Ball tournaments are played Thursdays at 9 a.m. To join the PC Billiard Club, pick up membership information at the Billiard Room on the west side of Tuscany Falls Clubhouse, just down the hallway from the Renaissance Theater.
