Desert Harmony again captured everyone’s attention with great music at the Italian American Club’s September membership meeting. Howard Brodbeck and Greg Goss performed and sang Simon & Garfunkel’s most popular songs, including Scarborough Fair, Mrs. Robinson, Cecilia, Bye Bye Love, and America … to mention just a few. Not only did they play and sing these great songs, Howard gave the chronological history of each song played, which was both informative and entertaining.
Christopher Columbus Day was the theme for the Oct. 11 membership meeting. The duo of Karen Peterson and Howard Brodbeck provided a selection of favorite Italian songs to encourage everyone to sing along while enjoying friendships of fellow members and some wonderful Italian pastries and wine.
