Aperitivo is a cherished Italian pre-dinner ritual, occurring daily around 6 to 8 p.m. to socialize and unwind. It’s similar to happy hour with drinks like Aperol Spritz paired with small snacks.
The theme for February’s Italian American Club’s Aperitivo was “Italian Carnevale,” a vibrant pre-Lenten festival celebrated across Italy with elaborate masks, costumes, and parades. The hosts for the February’s Aperitivo gatherings did a great job creating a fun evening with this festive theme. Thank you, Shelly and David Carnevale, Melinda Kresek, Pat and Bjarne Kaer, Sandy and John Manobianco, and Bonnie Wills for hosting the February Aperitivo.
