“Welcome Back” was the invitation from the Irish American Club to its members on Nov. 9, and what a party it was indeed! The high-octane performance by the Spirited Lads ensured that hands were clapping, feet were tapping, and singing along was highly encouraged. The dinner, consisting of shepherd’s pie and soda bread, in addition to salad and dessert, emphasized the club’s Irish roots. While many members have a connection to the Emerald Isle, in order to join, one just needs to enjoy people and have fun. The welcome back party emphasized just that. It’s good to be back!
