The first meeting of the PebbleCreek Irish American Club was held in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom on October 13. Various activities for the upcoming year were outlined by President John Pugsley. Included in these exciting events will be the first Home Hosted Benefit dinner of the year to be held at the home of Roger and Marlene Hayes, a Patio Party on November 8 to welcome back our winter residents, the first annual Christmas Holly Ball on December 8—which will be open to all residents, a golf tournament and the Emerald Ball which will be held to coincide with St. Patrick’s Day and the highlight of 2016 will be a 15-day trip to Ireland in September. So all in all there’s a lot to look forward to in the next few months.
Twenty-three new members were introduced bringing the total membership of the club to over 200 people. But there’s still room for more, as our monthly meetings will now be held in the Chianti Room. So if you’re interested in joining the Irish or the Irish wannabes, please call Maureen Pugsley at 215-262-9966 for more information.
