Top o’ the morning to ye! The Irish-American Club of PebbleCreek is back for the season and all PCers are invited to join us for fellowship, fun and philanthropy. The IAC was started seven years ago to promote interest in all things Irish, but you don’t have to be Irish to be a member. We usually have two social events per month such as benefit dinners, outings and dinner dances.

Our last social event was the See you in September potluck hosted by Jan Shields on May 10. It was a great way to say farewell to the snowbirds. Our next gathering is Tuesday, October 14 for a regular business meeting in the Palm Room at 7:00 p.m. followed by an afters social at Bernice and Tim Coogan’s home. New members and guests should arrive by 6:45 p.m. On Sunday, October 19 the next home hosted dinner to benefit the Agua Fria Food Bank will be hosted by Marlene and Roger Hayes and co-hosted by Jan and Steve Kirk. Details will be presented to members later.

The current board members of the IAC are John Pugsley, president, Anne Engels, vice-president, Judi Rizzetto, membership secretary, Tim Coogan, treasurer, Nancy Gustafson, corresponding secretary and John Flynn, past-president. For more information or to join, contact Judi at 536-1960. We hope to see returning members and new members at our next meeting to wish them Cead Mile Failte (100,000 welcomes).
