Our club kept some activity going during the summer months for members who are full-time residents with a series of summer pub luncheons. The successful series began in June at P.F. Chang’s, followed by a July luncheon at Red Lobster and an August luncheon at Bella Luna. The pub lunches offered an opportunity for club fellowship and to show community support to local restaurants that support the club’s yearly Charity Golf Tournament. The community support of our 13th Annual Charity Golf Tournament helped our club’s charitable efforts and enabled us to give six Millennium High School seniors $2,000 each. In addition, four non-profit organizations received $4,000 each: Mission of Mercy, Meals of Joy, All Faith Community Services, and Southwest Lending Closet. We also gave a donation to the Irish Cultural Center.
