The IAC’s annual Emerald Ball was fittingly held on St. Patrick’s Day. The Tuscany Falls Ballroom took on a lovely aura of green with decorations in keeping with the St. Patrick’s Day theme.
Little spritely leprechauns could be spotted here and there around the room. The 195 people in attendance enjoyed a delicious sit-down dinner of surf and turf followed by dancing to PebbleCreek’s own PebbleRock Band. The surprise attraction of the evening was the appearance of a troupe of young dancers from The Maguire School of Irish Dance in Phoenix. These young performers delighted all with their precise, toe-tapping numbers. Thanks to the committee that planned and organized this enjoyable evening which was co-chaired by Roger and Marlene Hayes. They were assisted by committee members Carole Garrett, Susan Kice, Ellen Jacob, Dorothy Paquette, Sally Patt, Barb Risden and Virginia Thompson. All in all—an awesome night!
