Lucretia Ann Agostarola

Lucretia Ann Agostarola, age 65, of Goodyear, Ariz., passed away on Sept. 23, 2020, in Goodyear, Ariz. She was born on April 25, 1955 to Charles and Mary Mattis in Somerville, N.J.

Lucretia was a proud member of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution and belonged to the Copper State chapter in Arizona. She was a graduate of West Deptford High School, class of 1973. She also graduated from Rutgers, The State of New Jersey Camden College with multiple degrees in social work, public administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in 1981.

Lucretia loved God, her country, and her family and friends. She loved children, animals, flowers, traveling, and living life to the fullest while seeing and enjoying new things and experiences with her husband and friends. She was always proud of being a social worker and helping other people learn to help themselves. Lucretia worked for the state of New Jersey, was a mental health screener, worked at various agencies as a licensed clinical social worker, and also had her own small private practice.

She is survived by her husband Fred Agostarola, her daughter Jennifer Lundfelt, her son Demian Lundfelt, and her sisters Cheryl Hoste and Mary Jimenez. She is also survived by her three grandchildren Jarrett, Trevor, and Christian Lundfelt.

Burial will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at a later date.

The family suggests that donations be made to an animal rescue group of your choosing in Lucretia’s name.

Paul Franklin Mack

Paul Franklin Mack, beloved husband, father, and friend. He was born in Lowell, Mass. on Aug. 18, 1934, and passed peacefully on Sept. 28, 2020, at the age of 86.

As a 20-year resident of PebbleCreek, Paul enjoyed karaoke, loved golf with his friends, football, and cruise travels. Known for his Boston accent, Paul cherished his East Coast roots, but most of all he cherished his family and friends.

Paul leaves behind his wife Mary of 62 years, daughter Carla Melnyk and her husband Steve of Ill., daughter Paula Mack of Calif., four grandchildren—Taylor Boyer and her husband Dennis of Chicago, Ill., Austin Melnyk and his wife Jo of N.C., Brady Simard of Calif., Cody Simard of Calif, and three great grandchildren—Penelope, Quinlan, and Logan.

A memorial service is to be determined at a later date.

Richard Paul Sitch, 75, formerly of Oswego, Ill., died Sept. 7, 2020 at his home in Goodyear, Ariz. Richard was born Dec. 8, 1944, in Aurora, Ill., to Mary (Sas) Sitch and Louis Sitch.

Richard graduated high school from Saint Meinrad Seminary in Indiana. He went on to earn a B.S. and M.S. in Education from Northern Illinois University, as well as an Education Specialist certificate in Gifted Education from Aurora University. He began his career as a biology teacher in the East Aurora School District, followed by almost three decades as a guidance counselor at West Aurora High School.

Richard is survived by his wife Betsy King Sitch, son Daniel Sitch, daughters Laura (Manny) Orive and Julianne Sitch, sister June (Sitch) Moran and the late Leonard Moran. He is also survived by four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. Richard is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children Marietta (Berg) Sitch, brother Louis Sitch, and his parents.

Rich was active in LifeLong Learning and a former member of the PebbleCreek Rotary.

Visitation and a private memorial service were held in Illinois.
