Humanitarian Project for Africa

Dr. Joseph Bessing, resident of PebbleCreek

Please let me introduce myself to those who do not know me. I am Dr. Joseph Bessing. You may have met my partner, Kathy Pevonka, and I on the dance floor at either of our ballrooms. We belong to the PebbleCreek (PC) Ballroom Dance Club where Kathy has been serving as president. Kathy has been a resident since 2003 and I have been one since 2017.

I’m the founder of a 503 (c) (3) nonprofit charitable organization founded in 1998 in Washington, D.C., called WCSDAC, which stands for the World Wide Coalition for the Spiritual Development of the American Church in the USA.

It’s been my dream to give back to my birth country of Cameroon, Africa. The goal of the WCSDAC is to save lives, especially those of women and children, on the continent of Africa. Locally it is saving the lives of the homeless and mentally challenged. WCSDAC has partnered with New Generation Hospital in Norway to build a medical village in Kuiki, Cameroon. The village will include a special hospital for traditional medicine and a sanatorium where natural remedies will be used. One of the specialties of the hospital will be behavioral health, which is my specialty.

We have almost 124 acres of land to build a hospital in Kuiki and a Health Facility in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon. If possible, there will also be farms where students and the community can grow their own food.

The project is to transform the community of Kuiki by providing better healthcare facilities, as well as sustainable homes and business opportunities that will generate local jobs, self-sufficiency, and reduce poverty. WCSDAC looks forward to implementing these sustainable development goals through this project.

WCSDAC is a nonprofit organization in the United States, so every donation is tax-deductible. You can read more at my website, drjosephbessing.com. I am reaching out to you as a resident of PC. Recently some residents just became aware of this project and wished to make donations. If you would like to help save lives in Africa, please send your valued donation by check or money order to WCSDAC, 15080 West Verde Lane, Goodyear, AZ 85395. I will be going back to Cameroon on Sept. 10. If you’d like further information, please send an email to me at [email protected].

Thank you and bless you,

Dr. Joseph Bessing, founder of WCSDAC
