Thank you to everyone who so generously donated to our annual Holiday Toy Drive held Dec. 5. COVID restrictions changed our collection procedure somewhat, but it most definitely did not dampen the holiday spirit of giving, as we exceeded the donations from last year.
PebbleCreek residents Karen Reuland (including non-PebbleCreek resident Brittany Brown), Gale Baldasare, Corrie Copple, and Maureen McCann, as well as Apryl Fergus with the Goodyear Fire Dept coordinated the drive to benefit the city of Goodyear’s Fill-a-Need program. We collected toys, clothing, food, and $3,400 in cash and gift cards! The fire dept. distributes these gifts to help children and their families during the holidays.
Your generosity filled us with joy and, more importantly, will help bring a smile to a child and their family this holiday season!
