Harold Erker, Jim Padgitt Win PC 8-Ball and 9-Ball Tournaments

PebbleCreek (PC) Billiard Club members have completed another series of 8-Ball and 9-Ball tournaments in the PC Billiard Room. Both tourneys are played in a round-robin format over extended 8-week periods.

This season, Harold Erker earned the 8-Ball Grand Championship title by winning 60 games and raking in a total of 72 points. One point is awarded for each game won, plus a 3-point bonus for each weekly mini-tournament victory.

Recording second and third place finishes in the 8-Ball event, respectively, were Clay Beeson (48 wins, 54 points) and Jim Padgitt (41 wins, 44 points). Other 8-Ball tourney competitors include Marv Schrock, Mike Finnegan, Jim Sykes, Joe Armbruster, and Butch Schoen.

As 9-Ball Grand Champion, Jim Padgitt earned his second consecutive tournament victory with 46 game wins, 55 total points. Runner-up was Joe Armbruster (41 wins, 47 points) with third-place honors going to Marv Schrock (37 wins, 40 points). Additional 9-Ball players include Clay Beeson, Bill Wise, Mike Finnegan, and Butch Schoen.

8-Ball tournament play convenes in the PC Billiard Room Mondays at 2 p.m.. 9-Ball tournaments are played Thursdays at 9 am.
