This summer started out with a fun-filled, exciting week of camping for six fourth-grade girls from Barbara B. Robey Elementary School. The girls left for camp on June 2 and returned on June 7, tired but with stories and memories they will have forever.
The car ride to the camp bus on Sunday morning was pretty quiet compared to the return trip on Friday night, which was full of giggles, laughter and stories about their great week.
Archery is always one of their favorite activities, and they loved the new songs they learned and the new friends they made.
The girls also created their own pottery, cooked outside and they even slept out in tents one night. From the sound of it, not much sleeping was accomplished that night.
The National Time, Talents and Treasures (T.T.T.) Society, Arizona Chapter P would like to thank our PebbleCreek community for supporting us this year with our fundraising. Without you, these deserving girls would surely have missed out on a great opportunity to grow and learn. We look forward to sending more girls next year.
