Our January 17 meeting got off to a great start. We greeted new board members and retained some of the ones from last year. Our term of office is two years but we replace only half of the board each year. Welcome to our new people and a return hello to those continuing. It should be another wonderful year.
Kicking off 2016, our club will have a wonderful speaker at our February 21 meeting. Janice Arnold (Senior Concierge of Solutions to Senior Hunger of the Jewish Family and Children’s Service) will be here in PebbleCreek. She will inform us about the JFCS projects and services that are available to everyone in the Greater Phoenix area. Come early, get a good seat, learn something and have a nosh!
February 26 brings the biggest gala event of the year—An Evening in New Orleans. Grab your beads, put on your masks and get ready for the music of Sound Design. Costumes are encouraged but not required. Bourbon Street and all of its goodies right here at the Tuscany Falls Ballroom at 5:30 p.m.! The cost is $32 per person for members and $38 per person for guests. Dinner entrée choices are available as well as a plethora of surprises and tasty treats.
