Happy New Year from the PebbleCreek Ukulele Club!

Gillian Driscoll

It’s 2025 already! Boy did that go quickly. Maybe it was because the PebbleCreek Ukulele Club had so much fun each week and we looked forward to our jams so much. Whatever the reason, here we are in a new year and we are raring to go with melodies old and new and many opportunities to play and perform.

On Thursday, Jan. 23 the club will host their third Annual Open House. Everyone is invited to join us and see just how happy the little instrument, known as the “jumping flea,” makes us all.

If you are interested in trying out a ukulele, we will have extra for you to try. If you are a seasoned player or someone just picking the uke back up after a time away, we welcome you. If you just like to listen to music and sing along with us, we would be delighted to see you. We are not professional musicians and we don’t always play the right chords or sing in tune but it doesn’t matter. When you play and sing in a group no one notices the mistakes!

We are a fun and welcoming group so please join us.

Where: The Palm Room, Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse

When: Thursday, Jan. 23 (and every Thursday)

Time: 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Strum on!
