The Fall season winners were:
Tuesday morning: Rogue Rollers II
Tuesday evening: 3-way tie between Bocce Buds, PC Rollers, Rock N Rollers
Wednesday morning: USA Bocce
Wednesday evening: tie between Boccelisms and Doozy Batz
Thursday evening: Court Jesters II
Friday morning: Avengers
In lieu of prize money given to players, the Bocce Club captains and board members choose different charities to donate to. The Fall season donation of $1,000 went to the US Vets of Phoenix (homeless veterans).
The Bocce Club held a holiday charity drive for Homeless Youth Connection (HYC) of Phoenix during the first week of December and had an amazing turnout of donations of cash, gift cards, and gifts by our Bocce Club members. We are proud to say that with the overwhelming support of this event, we made a generous donation of $5,000+ to HYC (this includes gift cards, cash, and other items). A special thanks to our VP, Carolyn Rota, for spearheading this wonderful event.
