A great annual event took place as a total of 59 teams competed at the PebbleCreek Men’s Golf Association 4-Man Scramble Tournament. This “pick your own team” tourney is considered a major and is one of our most popular events. It was conducted on December 3, 9 and 10.
The field was separated into six flights. On Thursday, December 3, flights 1, 3 and 5 played on our Eagle’s Nest course and flights 2, 4 and 6 played on our Falls/Palms Tuscany Falls Course. The flights switched courses on Wednesday, December 9 and switched back again on Thursday, December 10 for the final round.
Lunch was served in the Tuscany Ballroom after play was completed. Pulled pork, chicken, beer, soda and cookies comprised the menu. PCMGA President Jerry Treece, led a short meeting and announced that starting December 17 members could sign up for tournaments playing the white tees no matter their handicap.
Scoring was completed by several PCMGA board members. Our Director of Golf Jason Whitehill and our Pros Ronnie Decker and Dave Vader did the posting. Ronnie announced the winners. Prizes were awarded for Low Gross, 1st Low Net, 2nd Low Net, 3rd Low Net and Closest-To-The-Pin in each of the six flights.
