On Saturday, February 17, 2018, The Pet Companions Club of PebbleCreek sponsored a well-attended charity golf tournament which raised funds for the City of Goodyear Police Department K-9 Unit. This was the eighth year that this event has been held and it was a great success. Sponsors and residents enthusiastically supported this event which also included a live K-9 demonstration by the Goodyear Police Department’s K-9 officers and their canine partners.
$6,785.50 was raised at this year’s event through donations, golf entry fees, and sponsor activities on the golf course, which will be used by the Goodyear K-9 Unit for equipment, training expenses, and veterinary bills.
