Bill Barnard, General Manager
Living in PebbleCreek has many benefits. In this month’s message, I would like to focus on one of those benefits that I believe is especially significant – our community services team. Led by retired Goodyear Police Lieutenant, John Singleton, our community services department is made up of approximately 35 men and women who patrol and care for our community, property and residents, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
PebbleCreek’s Community Services Patrol provides many homeowner services, such as vacation watch, jump starting vehicles, airing up tires, golf cart towing, alerting homeowners about water leaks and installing RFID tags, to name just a few. Perhaps their most important role is their presence all around the property, 24 hours a day. The patrol team is constantly on the move in their colorful and recognizable trucks, not only carrying out the duties of the job, but just their presence is known to discourage and deter crime. Patrollers also act as agents of the HOA for the benefit of residents and have the power and authority to enforce PebbleCreek’s CC&R’s, By-Laws, Articles and Rules. They are not police officers. The City of Goodyear police and other law enforcement agencies handle criminal law violations within PebbleCreek.
Another aspect of the 24-hour service is the manned gates at our main entrances. Uniformed Guest Relations staff members greet guests and homeowners driving through PebbleCreek’s guard gates. You can call them at any time to notify them that you have a guest or vendor arriving or use the homeowner registration system that enables you to pre-register information about your residence, vehicles, emergency contacts, vacation dates, visitors and other pertinent data. Your password protected information helps Community Services Patrol and Guest Relations know that your visitor’s arrival is expected and to respond quickly to various security and safety situations that may arise. Visit the HOA website and look for PC Services on the Patrol home page drop down menu.
I encourage all homeowners to keep the patrol’s 24-hour phone number handy at home and on your cell phones. The phone number is 623-935-0387. You never know when you might need assistance. The benefits of living in a gated community with 24-hour patrol and gate presence are many. Please take advantage of all the services that they provide. They are here to help and make it easier for all community members to enjoy living your best life here in PebbleCreek.
